History

The Paul Horn company was founded in Germany in 1969 and grew rapidly throughout the final quarter of the 20th Century.  During the 1990s a series of overseas subsidiaries was established in key markets to oversee sales and distribution of Horn's range of high precision grooving tools.

Main land of China, Taiwan and Hongkong were served by Horn China, founded in 2013 with office in Shanghai.

From 2013 the Chinese company had supplied standard and special inserts for the local market. Specials, and applications engineering support have been a key factor in Horn's success in China. As a result Horn has a strong growth in the automotive, aerospace, defence, hydraulics, general precision engineering and energy industry.
