Review of 2016 China Machine Tool Exhibition (CME)

With the profound changes in international market, which is experiencing a new round of restructuring in the industry development mode, the global equipment manufacturing industry is evolving into a brand-new industrial restructuring pattern. The industrial structuring has been oriented to the thought of developing high-end products and large-scale enterprises. To meet the development needs of the international market, China should also transform its own development pattern from extensive development to fine development in order to form the trade situation of "importing and exporting high-quality products".

2016 China Machine Tool Exhibition (CME), the most influential machine tool industry event in the Chinese market, was successfully held on March 4, 2016 in National Exhibition and Convention Center (Hongqiao, Shanghai).

Around 540 brand enterprises from all over the world have given full expression to the excellence of modern industry intelligence in the six exhibition areas, including metal cutting machine tool exhibition area, metal forming machine tool exhibition area, measuring and cutting tools exhibition area, machine tool accessories exhibition area, casting exhibition area and smart plant exhibition area, covering an area of up to 70,000 square meters. During the CME, 90,000 professional buyers from both home and abroad have paid a visit.

To keep pace with the market changes, Horn China has also taken an active part in 2016 CME. In comparison to 2014, Horn China has enlarged its exhibitions scale, enriched its exhibition materials and assigned more personnel in 2015 CME, playing a significant role in promoting the brand of Horn. This is attributable to the concerted efforts of all the staffs of Horn (Shanghai).

This exhibition is planned by Tony Hui, National Sales Manager of Horn in China with great support rendered by Mr. Haug Halard, Export Manager of Horn in Germany. On the site of the exhibition, the sales team of Horn has listened to and understood the customer demands, and actively answered the customers' questions.

Based on the changes of the Company listed above, this exhibition has seen new breakthroughs with increasing exhibition participants and more positive customer responses. The number of customers, especially from the industries related to machining, automobile, spaceflight and medical care, have obviously increased, and most of them have implied their intention of cooperation in the future!
